On February 9, 2008,  Urban Youth Initiative along with Urban Youth Workers Institute is hosting its annual Urban Reload Training from 8:30am to 3:00pm featuring:

  • Local and national speakers

  • Multi-cultural worship

  • Expert training for next-generation urban leaders

  • Breakfast and lunch included

The Refugee Empowerment Program (REP) exists to address the needs and concerns of the refugee population of Memphis, Tennessee through empowerment programs such as; tutoring, adult literacy, cultural adjustment, citizenship preparation classes, health services coordination, student advocacy, and job advocacy. Economic Opportunities (EcOp) is a business venture equipped to provide "hard to place" individuals with employment, personal attention and intensive care.  Program participants are invited to join daily prayer, devotions and weekly Bible Studies to encourage Christian values and strong work ethics.  Participation in these activities is voluntary and is not a condition for receiving program services.
